Provide varied user experiences from the same portal
Early on in the OERCommons project with ISKME, a requirement for creating different user experiences in behavior as well as appearance based on various criteria. The idea was to see the portal through different lenses. I wrote Lenses to fulfill this need.
ISKME later removed this requirement and Lenses was abandoned.
